We are now basketball fans! Tony never, EVER thought he would witness his son playing basketball and not wrestling!?! Brenn tried out for basketball in November and he did not make the height requirements for the team. The coaches love him and asked if he could be the manager. Brenn said he would like to do that BUT he wanted to work out with the team every day. So he goes to practice every morning at 6:20 and then practices 1st block as well. He also travels with the team as manager. All his dedication paid off!! They asked him to be part of the team last week. His first game was Thursday and he scored 8 points, played all 4 quarters and had 5 assists and 4 steals!! WOW! He blew us away. He played little league basketball when he was 4 but has not ever played since then. They had a tournament this weekend and the team took the Championship. He had a great time and did so well. Here is where you can see the height requirement and the fact that he is by far the smallest player. He made up for that is sheer determination! Go Highlanders!!

Poor Robb and Tony. Bobby is playing basketball too. Im glad. I dont think I could handle years of watching my son wrestle.

What a guy!!!! You don't necessarily have to be tall to play bb. He is quick, smart and determined~~~what more could a couch want~~~right Ton!!!! I'm proud of my 'pup'!!!

That is so awesome that his determination got him a spot on the team. I love stories like that. I know Jayson feels the same way about his sons. They are both into sports and he is into mechanics and anything to do with cars. Neither Dustin nor Jayden have any mechanical interests.
