Brooklyn

As Brookie grows up, way too fast, she makes an impact on a lot of people. Being in Jr High is a terrible age and she has survived like a champion with grace, dignity, class and morality. In her school of 2700 kids~ in only 7th and 8th grades~ she has made impacts on teachers as well. We get emails, from teachers, of her genuine good heart and her ability to go 'above the influence' and not succumb to peer pressure. We are proud of her choices and accomplishments. In her yearbook a teacher wrote
"Brooke, You a such an incredibly powerful role model and advocate for your peers to "do the right thing." NEVER change! You will be the one who is courageous enough to stand up, stand out and make your own choices! You remind me of me...except YOU are much stronger than I was at your age! I have much love and respect for you. Please stay in touch!! I'll miss you! kids like you are few and far between! *Hugs* ~Ms. Meyer "
Then ended the note with a quote...
"Do not follow where the path may lead-go instead where there is no path and leave a trail."~Emerson

This note was from her language arts teacher. As a parent it made me proud to know that someone has noticed the values she holds close to her heart and that we have instilled in her. She is a great child with a wonderful inner heart and spirit! We love you and are very, VERY proud of your years in Jr High!! Keep it up, Kiddo!

We all know Brooklyn is so sweet and wonderful. It's nice that a teacher can pick her out from a crowd and notice those things about her too. We love you Brooke!

What a beautiful and sweet girl. Just like her momma! I'm so glad that her teachers mention those things. Too much of the time you only hear from them when it's something bad.

There is nothing better than getting positive comments about your children. You know great kids come from having great parents who are positive role models and great examples. Congratulations. She is a beautiful girl and even more beautiful inside! Being beautiful on the inside is the best quality you can have!
