Baseball and Parties....What a weekend!

WOW! We were so busy this last weekend. Britt was home with us from Wed-Sunday so she was able to celebrate with us. After Brooklyn's birthday bash on Friday night we continued her celebration through Sat evening. Brenn had a game Sat. afternoon. He played center field and 1st base. He hit 2 great balls, walked 1 time and scored 2 times. They won 15-7, but the highlight of the game was a boy on Brenn's team hit a grand slam out of the park home run! It was amazing! The stands cheered on both sides. It was a beautiful hit and Brenn was on 2nd base when it was hit so he scored on that hit. After the game we rushed home to make our 7 pm dinner reservations. We had 1 of Brooklyn's friends going with us and we were watching a friend of Brenn's and his parents wee not home yet so he tagged along. It is a new restaurant and the boys were less than thrilled to be there as it was a 'quiet' place. It was wonderful food and Brooklyn was happy with the night as well as with the entire weekend. On Sunday we all just crashed! Britt left for school, Brooklyn slept, Brenn and I watched movies and Tony golfed. Then we had baseball practice Sunday p.m. We were in bed and asleep very early!!

You had a very busy weekend. Looks like a lot of fun. Congrats to Brenn on a great game. Baseball isn't my fav, but I might learn to like it from your posts;)

what an awesome weekend! the ones that are busy are the best-est. they are the ones you remember WAY more than those ones you spend cleaning.

although perhaps the reason i don't remember the cleaning ... is because i never do...

that's probably not true...
