Take me out to the Ball game....

A couple of weeks ago Brenn and I and his friend, Rex(who is a Ranger fan...BOOOO!! ) went to see the Yankees play the Texas Rangers. Unfortunately Tony was out of town on business and could not attend te game with us. Our family LOVES the Yankees!!! It was so much fun. The boys ate a TON of junk food...They started off with the famous Baseball Park Hot Dog with Texas Ranger cups filled with lemonade. As you can see, Brenn enjoyed every little morsel of his hotdog..licking the ketchup off his grubby fingers...Gotta have peanuts!Then onto garlic fries with spicy ranch. (these were AWESOME)Finished with a cold Lemon Chill!

It was such a hot day...when we left it was well over 100 and it is an outdoor stadium. We had great seats and were in the covered area, unfortunately the ceiling fans were not working as well as the y could have. We were right behind the pitching team for the Rangers. It was interesting to be that close.I LOVE Derek Jeter!! He is Brenn's favorite player as well (for different reasons that he is sooooo cute). Here he is with A Rod who is Brenn's other favorite player. Actually, I am not sure that Brenn can name a Yankee player that isn't his favorite for all the baseball reasons and stats he throws out.Brenn's hope was that he coul see ARod hit a home run again. We saw him hit a home run when they played the Astros in Houston 2 years ago. ARod did not disappoint!
Here is another picture of Jeter, just because... :)We were disappointed the Yankees lost on extra innings but they are coming back to play in September! So we hope they win the next time we watch them. It was a long, hot game but we had a lot of fun!
