Last week Brenn attended a golf camp. We are very happy that he chose to do this camp, as we are hoping(fingers crossed) that he will golf in Jr High instead of playing football. His Jr High has 8 7th grade teams and 8 8th grade teams....so there are a lot of boys(and some girls) playing tackle football. Since he already has a terrible concussion under his belt from last years football season, we are not really excited about him playing football. Texas is psychotic about their football and there is a lot of hard contact at this young age...to get them weeded out and those that survive ready for high school ball.
Brenn loved his golf camp after the 1st day. He improved a great deal and stayed after the camp on 2 days to play another round of golf with some friends. Tony took him out on Friday afternoon and said he did very well and was excited to see him improve. Our fingers are going to be crossed all summer that golf wins out! I am very doubtful, but, hey! I can hope..... :)

Since Tony is such a golfer, maybe that will push Brenn to want to do something with his dad. I've heard about football in TX, push the golf!
Texas is crazy about their football...Brenn sure looks "cute" all dressed for golf. :)
